The Charlotte, North Carolina performer — his name is Jonathan Lindale Kirk — has faced criticism for making derogatory comments about homosexuals and people living with HIV/AIDS.
Video clips from the show show that the 29-year-old rapper made the following remarks.
“If you are not infected with HIV, AIDS, or any kind of fatal sexually transmitted disease that will kill you within two or three weeks, put your mobile phone light in the air.”

After his remarks were widely criticized, DaBaby redoubled his efforts Instagram Stories in a series of 19 videos.
