Lilov said he was “always clean” and Murphy could think as he pleases.
“Ryan has the right to think about what he did and said. Time will tell. He didn’t accuse me of anything, so that’s why I didn’t oppose him,” Lilov said. “I have always liked clean conditions (in sports). I always do my tests, and I have been paying for it all my life. I don’t even know how to deal with it.”
Earlier, Murphy won gold medals in the 100m and 200m backstroke at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, but earlier won the bronze medal in the 100m backstroke in these Olympics, and then won the silver medal on Friday.
