An employee of Burger King, Michigan, allegedly fired at customers in a drive-thru lane of a restaurant and is now facing charges arising from the incident earlier this year.
The employee has been identified as Dustin Rocheleau, 24, who was accused of drawing guns to three customers in Livonia, Michigan on April 28 because of their payment The method is controversial.
Police said Rocheleau was working at the Driveway restaurant at 29211 Seven Mile Road. When he took out a pistol and pointed it at the customers, they were sitting in the car outside the drive-through window.

No one was injured and the gun did not fire.
Livonia PD said on Facebook: “At the time of the incident, Rocheleau was driving. He allegedly pointed a pistol at three customers after disagreements on the payment method. The customer speeded up and notified Livonia police.
“Rocheleau escaped Burger King on foot and was later found by police nearby. A pistol was found in his backpack and he was arrested without any accident,” the police station said.
Rocheleau is now facing eight felony charges resulting from the incident, including gun charges. He gave up the right to take the preliminary examination and will appear in court on August 5.
Surveillance video shared by the Livonia Police Department showed that Rochero was working on the driveway and poking out the car window to talk to customers in an idle vehicle. He seemed to draw a pistol at them when the car drove away quickly.
When another employee approached him, Rocheleau could be seen turning to the camera with a gun in his hand.
The police also shared footage of Rocheleau’s arrest. He can be seen wearing a shirt with Burger King’s mascot Burger King printed on the back.
In the video, Rocheleau told the police: “You have a nice bust today, I will tell you.” When the police went to search his bag, Rocheleau seemed to tell them: “You are going to spend a day with this bag.”
When asked why, Rocheleau replied: “You will like these bags.” The video then showed a police officer found a gun in one of the bags.
Weekly newspaper The Livonia Police Department has been asked for comment. Burger King has also been contacted for comments.
