Cuomo’s lawyer Rita Glavin said the allegation was fabricated.
Tuesday, the New York State Attorney General’s Office Published a 165 page report Investigation into Cuomo’s allegations of sexual harassment.
According to reports, the former aide claimed that since 2019, Cuomo Inappropriate comments and touches were made to her, including reaching under her shirt, grabbing her breasts, and groping her ass.
President Joe Biden and many others called on Cuomo to resign.
The Albany District Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office will jointly conduct the investigation.
“We have a lot of fact-finding work to do. We have a lot of interviews to do. I will not worry about who he is. I will not postpone it because of who he is,” Apple said.
Gravin has publicly questioned these allegations.
“He is 63 years old this year. He has spent 40 years in public life and suddenly he was accused of sexually assaulting an administrative assistant. He really didn’t know it and failed the review,” Gravin said.
Apple said he believes the case will be handled fairly.
“I am the county sheriff. I will not be intimidated. I will not be intimidated,” he said.
