According to the Guardian, an 8-year-old Hindu boy in Pakistan was charged with blasphemy for urinating in a place where books from a Muslim religious school were kept.
The boy is the youngest person ever to be accused of blasphemy. He was detained by protective police in eastern Pakistan. The charge of blasphemy is punishable by the death penalty.
On Thursday, Pakistan deployed paramilitary forces after a Muslim crowd attacked and destroyed a Hindu temple. The boy’s family hid, and a large number of Hindu communities fled the Rahin Yar Khan Conservative Zone in Punjab. Twenty people were arrested for attacking the temple on Saturday.
“We have left our shop and work; the whole community is scared, and we are afraid of backlash. We don’t want to return to this area. We don’t think we will take any concrete and meaningful actions against the perpetrators or the protection of the ethnic minorities living here. ,” a member of the boy’s family told protector.

Madrassa is a school or educational institution that teaches Islamic subjects and directly participates in Muslim culture.
“He doesn’t even know this kind of blasphemy problem, and he has been wrongly addicted to these things. He still doesn’t understand what his crime is and why he was kept in jail for a week,” a family member told the Guardian. .
The allegations and consequences of the incident caught the American legal profession by surprise.
“The attack on the temple and the accusation of blasphemy against an eight-year-old underage boy really shocked me. For fear of being attacked, more than 100 houses in the Hindu community have been emptied,” said Ramesh Ramesh, a member of Parliament and head of the Hindu Council of Pakistan. Said Ramesh Kumar.
