Right-wing media organizations Newsmax and OANN were sued by Dominion Voting Systems for defamation lawsuits, each demanding $1.6 billion. The company claims that media organizations deliberately spread false information for profit.
Both organizations falsely claimed that Donald Trump was the real winner of the 2020 presidential election and stole it from him. Each lawsuit is over 100 pages, detailing all the false information about the election spread by the two networks.
Every Democrat should publicly support this lawsuit and send a message to Dominion that it will never settle.

“Newsmax helped create and cultivate another reality in which, upwards and downwards, pigs have wings, Dominion committed a huge fraud and took the presidency from Donald Trump by manipulating votes,” Dominion’s lawyer said.
State and federal officials have repeatedly stated that the election is safe and that there are no differences that might affect the election. More than 50 lawsuits have been dismissed by the court because the Trump campaign was unable to prove that their alleged election fraud affected Joe Biden’s election methods. However, the thinking of many Trump supporters has not changed due to the failure of the lawsuit, and they still believe that Trump is a legitimate winner.
News Center Say It “only reported the allegations of well-known public figures,” and Dominion’s lawsuit was “a clear attempt to suppress such reports and undermine the freedom of the press.”

“This series of lies by the defendant and others caused serious damage to our company, customers and employees,” CEO John Poulos said in an email.
According to ProPublica’s 2019 data, Dominion controls approximately 30% of the US market.
Dominion has identified more than 150 people who may be targets of future litigation, including pro-Trump lawyer Linwood, Fox News anchor and Melissa Carone, who was appointed by Gugliani as a witness to prove voter fraud .
