Bernard Hopkins is skeptical about the timing of Spencer’s eye injury

Bernard Hopkins is considered one of the most successful boxers who have fought for 28 years.

To this day, he is still aware of the latest developments in boxing, including the so-called match between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spencer.

As we all know, Spencer had to withdraw from the August 21 game due to an eye injury that required immediate surgery.

The 31-year-old is no longer able to undergo surgery, which may be enough to prove that he does have a retinal tear that requires urgent care.

However, when Hopkins passed in the “Little Giant Boxing and KO Artist Sports” show Boxing scene.

“I like Spencer, and I respect Spencer. I know he is ready for any challenge at any time. I just feel… I just have some doubts about this whole thing. I just think it suddenly appeared and appeared so quickly. …I just want to say please stay tuned,” Hopkins said.

Hopkins believed that Spencer should provide evidence of his illness. As far as the “executioner” is concerned, he emphasized how he would become transparent if something similar happened to him.

“Most people dare not question or ask for more details. I am that kind of person and I will show X-rays to the world. If I am ready to fight, I will say,’Look, this is a hairline fracture. Or a straight fracture,'” he said.

Either way, the reality is that Pacquiao will now face a new opponent in Yudeniz Ugas.

The change of opponents slightly changed the relationship with “Pac-Man”, and now he is the top priority for defeating Cuban boxers.

Pacquiao left the door open to face Spencer again. But this is under the conditions of the timely return of the WBC and IBF welterweight champions.

Most people at the age of 42 are waiting for Pacquiao to call it a career at the end of 2021. However, some people think he can fight for longer, and ironically, he will follow a similar approach to Hopkins.

Among those who believe that Pacquiao can fight for as long as possible is the former amateur boxer Cam F. podcast Hosted by Filipino journalists Vincent Juico, Rica Aquino and Brian Yalung.

“How old is Bernard Hopkins? He fought at the age of 51. He was the ruler. We were trained to think that after 25 years of age, it was a little downhill,” Awesome said. “I have seen pictures of him (Pacquiao) being overweight in my life. He has been taking care of his body. That man is a machine. So yes, some people might say that he is 42 years old, but he is not 42 years old. “
