The elite specializations of the guardian profession in “Guild Wars 2: The End of the Dragon” have been announced. Together with the Necromancer and Hypnotist, the first three specifications of the upcoming first character beta have been improved.
Willbender is Latest Major For Guardian, it inherits Dragonhunter and Firebrand and provides a brand new professional gameplay.based on Reveal trailer, Willbender seems to be another high mobility specialization, which can use extra mobility and what seems to be a physical skill, similar to the Daredevil specialization of the thief.
Willbenders can use an off-hand sword as their new weapon, giving them two new abilities to use on the basis of the Guardian’s existing swordsmanship. Recently, it is not clear what type of mechanism or ability will replace the guardian’s virtues, but it seems that Willbenders prefer offense rather than defense, trading survivability in exchange for extra gap narrowing and quick attack.
It’s worth noting that most of the abilities shown in Willbender’s preview retain most of the Guardian’s affinity for fire. A new forward blink ability of Willbender will create a fire field when landing, while also providing protection for allies in range. They also have a sprint action that creates a string of flames in its wake, and an uppercut action that covers a sea of fire before attacking the enemy with a series of hits.

Very similar to the pioneer specialization of the Necromancer, Willbender provides the guardian class with mobility similar to that of a thief. Whether this will create a mobile-centric new element in WvW or PvP game modes remains to be discussed, but these new specializations will at least provide more options for players who want to get close and personal as quickly as possible.
As of press time, detailed information about Willbender’s abilities, features, and career mechanics have not been announced, but ArenaNet will soon host a development stream on their Twitch channel, where they will introduce Willbender and Harbinger’s abilities in more detail.
Virtuoso, Harbinger and Willbender will be available to all Guild Wars 2 players in the free character Beta test from August 17th to 21st.
