Ryan Reynolds celebrated the No. 1 debut of “Freeman” by sharing stills from the newly released action comedy movie.
In the photo, Reynolds can be seen looking at actress Judy Comer with a gun. The poster also says “the world’s number one movie”.
“Well, if everyone said that,” Reynolds wrote in the headline. “#FreeGuy is in theaters. Cool things are happening.” He added at the end of the post: “It’s irrelevant. Did Joe Kiri delete his Instagram account? I can’t tag him.”
Many celebrities and fans went to the comment section to congratulate the actor on his recent success.
Former Canadian ice hockey player Hayley Wickenheiser wrote: “Congratulations Ryan”, and actor Liam Hemsworth liked this article.
One fan commented, “The Avengers scene made me almost scream in the cinema”, while another fan answered his question about Keery’s account, “He didn’t show up in front of me either, I think it’s because He just blocked us both.”
“Freeman” is a light-hearted comedy film that explores the boundaries between reality and the virtual world. The “Deadpool” star portrays a man in a blue shirt who is basically an anti-hero character in the movie.
Considering the COVID-19 situation, David A. Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research, a management consulting company, told Agence France-Presse, “This is a very good start under difficult conditions. The Delta variant is paying a price.”
Movie made money The North American premiere weekend is $28.4 million. The film won $51 million in box office worldwide. Reynolds announced on Twitter on Sunday that Disney had confirmed the sequel to “Freeman”.
“3 years after Aaaannnnd released #FreeGuy as an original IP movie, Disney confirmed today that they officially want a sequel. Woohoo!! #irony.”

Reynolds will next appear in the action comedy film “Red Wanted” directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The film also starred Dawn Johnson and Gal Gadot.
