Kara ATMCA increases strength

Surface-to-surface cruise missile (Kara ATMACA)

The Turkish Defense Industry Presidential Palace (SSB) and Roketsan signed a surface-to-surface cruise missile (Kara ATMACA) project. With the emergence of Kara ATMACA, the ATMACA anti-ship missile developed by Roketsan for the navy platform will take on a new dimension.

SSB and Roketsan signed the Kara ATMACA agreement at IDEF’21. SSB Chairman Professor İsmail Demir, Turkish Armed Forces, Roketsan and industry representatives attended the signing ceremony.

As a long-range cruise missile, it can be launched from a tactical wheeled land vehicle to meet the army’s combat needs. The Kara ATMACA has a range of 280 kilometers.

The missile will be one step ahead of its competitors by virtue of its unique technical and tactical characteristics.

Kara ATMACA, with its 3D mission planning capabilities and long-range capabilities, is expected to provide the Turkish Army with excellent combat planning capabilities. The missile is expected to enter the inventory as a new strike force in 2025.

The first delivery of the Kara ATMACA project is expected to be completed in August 2025.
