The most popular activities in Gulf Coast
1. 32 miles of soft sand!
To say that Alabama’s Gulf Coast surprises me is an understatement! From the soft sands and clear waters, the beach is almost perfect as you can get; adventure and entertainment within a few hours at my door.
Although Gulf Coast is a beach community, even at the peak of the day, you will find that the beach is not crowded. Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise and listen to the sound of waves hitting the coastline.
Even if the beach is not private, there is enough space to build sand castles, lounges or just listen to music without disturbing the neighbors.
Relaxation is one of the best activities on the Gulf Coast!
If you plan to spend a day on the beach, please bring lunch and snacks, because you won’t find many dining options on the waterfront of the apartments where most people live.
Pro tip: Most apartments rent out cabins and deck chairs, but they do not advertise for rental.
2. Gulf State Park
Bay State Park Campground is just 1.5 miles from the white sand beaches of the Alabama coast.
The park maintains a weekly event calendar, which you can check before visiting to understand what activities you can do during your stay.
The park offers hiking trails, piers, beaches and championship golf courses. If your family is looking for adventure, you can rent a bicycle, kayak or paddle in the park.

Children will love seeing primates, lions, bears, leopards and birdhouses. Educational lectures and animal shows are also on the agenda, and the shady picnic area is a comfortable place to relax away from the hot Alabama sun.
5. Baby turtles
One of the most epic things to do on the Gulf Coast is to see baby turtles Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. The children will watch in awe as thousands of sea turtles hatch and enter the water.

It doesn’t really matter if you live there Turquoise Square, Airbnb, or in the caravan park-a hotel like this Marriott with Beach club As long as your credit card is valid, we will be more than happy to help you relax. Indulge in a deep tissue massage, then sip a cocktail by the pool.

The pier is also where the World Food Championships are held every year. The World Food Championship is the largest competition in the food sport. Chefs and home chefs from previous competitions gather together to have the opportunity to win the ultimate food championship and hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money.
If you have not been to the Gulf Coast, now is a good time to relax your belt and take a fork, because the food here is amazing!
I have a chance with Gulf Coast with World Food Championship By participating World Food Championship Blogger Summit Held every October on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama.
8. Be religious when drinking
The Flora-Bama bar is located on the Florida-Alabama interstate line. Jimmy Buffett once sang Flora-Bama, and Flora-Bama may be a bar/church where you can have a drink and listen to honky-tonk music.
9. Sunset cruise
One of the best attractions on the Gulf Coast is the sunset cruise Windsurfing Wild Heart. A sunset cruise is a way to relax with your family after exploring the Gulf Coast.
You will explore the waters of the bay on an ocean catamaran, and you will receive free refreshments and snacks, including water, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
The sunset cruise takes an average of one and a half to two hours and offers beautiful views of the white sand coastline.
10 Hiking
Alabama’s Gulf Coast is known for its pristine white sand beaches, but there are also amazing hiking trails along the Gulf Coast.this Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail The Gulf State Park is over 15 miles and will take you through six different ecosystems.
You will explore freshwater marshes, butterfly gardens, and see plenty of wild animals while hiking. As the trail is very large, I suggest you plan where you want to hike before you arrive.
Make sure you have your camera ready, because you will be impressed with it Alabama Coastal Bird Watching Trail, There you can observe regional species such as blue heron.
There are many signs along the trail to facilitate navigation and provide educational information about the area and the birds you might see while hiking.
11. Hummingbird Zipline Course
The Orange Beach Pier Hummingbird Zipline Course features 8 ziplines that allow you to fly over treetops, sparkling waterways and wetlands.
The course spans more than 6,000 feet, and the tallest of the eight towers is 115 feet tall, allowing you to glide at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour.

12. Wharf
pier If shopping and eating are your ideas, then they should be on your list. The marina provides all the facilities for shopping, live music, dining and the marina.
The pier on the coast of the Gulf is actually a small town of its own. Don’t forget to take the kids on the Ferris wheel!
Where to eat on the Gulf Coast
I am the biggest seafood lover of all time, the place where you will not eat seafood on the Gulf Coast. If I can eat seafood every day, I will. Gulf Shores offers a variety of restaurants for every taste.
Two of my favorites are vertex with Lulu’s. Both provide more than just delicious seafood, which is important because even if I like seafood, my husband doesn’t like it; so I have to make sure that no matter where we decide to dine, the menu offers a variety of dishes.
Lulu’s
If you are going to Gulf Coast with the whole family, I suggest you go to LuLu’s because it is the most suitable restaurant for families.
Lulu’s is located on the inland waterway of the Gulf Coast. Families can enjoy the view. The beach and birds told me that they have the best cheeseburger on the Gulf Coast!
For children, there is an arcade, a 3-story rock climbing rope to climb the Mountain of Youth, and a smaller Munchkin Mountain for children to play.
The environment here is very suitable for children to burn their energy while waiting for food. It is also a good place to hang out after dinner, so that mom and dad can go out for a drink while the children are playing on the beach or playing hula hoops. And enjoy the fun of running around.
Acme Oyster House
I often visit Acme Oyster House in New Orleans, but this is my first time to a restaurant in Orange Beach and I am not disappointed.
This Southern-style building is full of the charm of Louisiana, with plenty of seating inside and out.
Acme is definitely a paradise for seafood lovers, focusing on fresh oysters, seafood and Cajun spices, but they do offer non-seafood items on their menu.
Where to Stay in Gulf Coast
Turquoise Square, A beautiful luxury resort right on the beach. You all know that I like luxury goods, right? You will be able to see turquoise from miles away, with its turquoise glass tower rising over 20 floors in the air.
The apartment is a short walk from restaurants, shopping venues and attractions.
Turquoise Place offers spacious three-bedroom, four-bedroom and five-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens and modern decor. Each independent unit has a bay view balcony, a gourmet grill and a hot tub.
After a full day of sightseeing, all you need is a bottle of wine, a hot tub, and listen to the sound of waves hitting the coastline.
Turquoise Place is very suitable for families, because children can enjoy the lazy river, indoor and outdoor swimming pools while mom and dad relax.
Each apartment is equipped with a designated parking space, so you don’t need to fight over the parking space. Everyone will receive a wristband similar to the one you see at Disneyland or Six Flags, allowing you to fully use the resort provided All facilities.
The wristband can also replace the room key, so you don’t have to worry about losing the key or digging out the bottom of the bag under all the trash!
The master bedroom is large and opens onto an outdoor terrace with grill, hot tub and outdoor dining table. Each unit is also equipped with stainless steel utensils and cutlery, so if you don’t want to eat out every night, you only need to bring groceries.
