Jamie Carragher blames Liverpool star for 3-2 loss to West Ham

After the Reds lost 3-2 to West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday, former Liverpool FC defender Jamie Carragher lashed out at goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Following the defeat at the London Stadium, Liverpool fell to fourth place in the standings, while the Hammers took third place.

Only in the fourth minute of the opening, Allison scored the ball from Pablo Fornals’s corner into his goal, so the start may be the worst.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s brilliant free kick equalized the score before the break, but Fornals and Kurt Zuma scored within 7 minutes and regained West Ham’s lead with 15 minutes remaining. Divock Origi came off the bench to score Liverpool’s second goal, but because Jurgen Klopp’s team suffered their first defeat in the Premier League, they could not save the visiting team.

In the post-match analysis, Carragher praised West Ham United’s performance, but criticized Liverpool’s meek defense, and pointed out Allison’s poor performance between the Red Army.

“he is [Alisson] It must be saved. There is no doubt that he should have done better on all three goals. But this is something Liverpool has been doing for a while, and I am in that position and I cannot fully understand it. You look at their defensive record, which is absolutely fantastic. But I just think that when you are in these positions, I don’t know what you can gain from keeping the line,” Carragher told Sky Sports After Liverpool lost 3-2 to the London Stadium.

Liverpool Enter the game against West Ham, aiming to create the club’s 26 unbeaten record. Unfortunately, the Red Army was refused to set a record.

“Yes, [Joel] Matip ran to the ball, but even Virgil van Dijk could hold the baseline. The only two things that can happen there are: you either catch them offside or they rush towards the target, which is not a fair fight for me. In some ways, I was thinking, you know what, I would rather run back. What do we get from offside? Nothing, we just got the ball 60 yards from the goal, otherwise they are rushing towards our goalkeeper,” Carragher added.

Liverpool striker in good condition Mo SalahEarlier this season, there were goals in 10 consecutive games, and no goals in the past three games, which definitely affected the team’s results.

The Reds have lost points twice in the past three games, including a 2-2 draw with Brighton and a 3-2 loss to West Ham United.
