Man was shot dead after fighting with uninvited guests at wedding


An investigation is ongoing after a man was shot dead at a wedding in Utah.

According to KSL-TV, 38-year-old Oscar Avila attended a family wedding at the Ganesh Center in Midvale on Saturday when some uninvited guests showed up.

Unite police Sergeant Melody Cutler told the media that later that night, Avila had an argument with some uninvited guests in the parking lot of the venue.

According to the police station’s press release, the police responded to the shooting at the conference venue at 145 East Unionburg Avenue at about 11:30 pm.
