The company stated that the salary increase will take effect on January 1, 2022 and is applicable to full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal workers, bringing the average wage of IKEA employees in the United States to $20 per hour.
IKEA has also increased benefits and now provides five weeks of paid vacation for all employees.
