I believe I finally attributed my Thanksgiving to a science. I know it will be very busy, so I will start my day with my meditation ritual, sitting quietly and grateful.
(As I gently remind you (Wink) In recent posts, Pour out from an empty glass Is not good for anyone, and Prioritize self-care before holidays It should be non-negotiable. So I accept my own suggestion. )
As for the menu, it will be very simple. I know what my family likes to eat, and I stick to their favorite — and basic — most of the time. Of course, sometimes it seems impossible to pull everything down, fear will arise, and when I serve one or two side dishes, they will become cold. But in most cases, when I sit down and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with my family, I will be happy to put in the hard work and make my family smile… I Smile too.
