In the second half of the 2021 NFL season, a handful of teams will usually be at the other end of the most popular survivor pool pick. The Houston Texans and Detroit Lions have not won for two consecutive months. The NFC East and the second half of the AFC East are unlikely to have more victories.
Here is the ranking of the top 10 survivor pool selections in week 11:
1) Tennessee Titans (Vs. Houston Texans)
If you still have Tennessee available, it’s easy.Titans tied NFL best recordThe Texan is at the bottom of the AFC standings. Tennessee’s six-game winning streak includes four wins over the team in the latest playoffs. Since defeating Jacksonville in the season opener, Houston has not won a game.
2) Cleveland Browns (Against the Detroit Lions)
Detroit has the NFL’s longest unbeaten record in 13 games, and it’s still increasing. When Mason Rudolph started in a short time, the Lions could not beat the Steelers, so the chance of winning in Cleveland was very small. The Browns’ defense should rebound against Jared Goff and the Lions, who have not scored 20 points in eight consecutive games. Nick Chubb is likely to return to Cleveland.
3) Tampa Bay Pirates (Against the New York Giants)
Due to injuries and mistakes, the Pirates performed poorly in Week 10. Look for the defense of Tom Brady and Tampa Bay to rebound against New York. Brady still leads the league in passing yards and touchdowns per game. The Giants are 0-3 against teams with at least six victories.
4) Buffalo Bills (Against the Indianapolis Colts)
Despite their record of 0.500, Indianapolis has yet to beat its contenders in the playoffs. The Colts defeated the opponent who entered Week 10 and achieved more than three victories with a score of 0-5. The Bills defeated a team with no winning record by a score of 5-1. Buffalo has top-notch defense in the NFL.
5) Baltimore Ravens (On the Chicago Bears)
Chicago did not consistently show strong offensive performance throughout the season. The Bears may not break the trend towards the Ravens and their No. 4 defense. Lamar Jackson’s eighth career start against Justin Fields gave Baltimore a significant advantage in the most important position of the game.
6) New England Patriots (Atlanta Falcons)
The performance of the Patriots is as good as any team. The New England team entered Week 11 with a four-game winning streak, leading their opponents by an average of 25 points per game during that time. Atlanta has yet to beat a playoff contender with a first-line quarterback in the lineup.
7) Los Angeles Charger (Against the Pittsburgh Steelers)
Pittsburgh may underperform in a relatively close, low-scoring game. Since November 15, 2020, the Steelers have not played a 30-point regular season. Pittsburgh leads only Los Angeles four sports in total defense.
8) San Francisco 49ers (At the Jacksonville Jaguars)
The 49ers are an adventurous survivor choice, although they are definitely the better team in this game. Jacksonville is only one game better than Houston, the worst in the AFC defeating the Jaguars earlier this season.
9) Green Bay Packers (At the Minnesota Vikings)
The Packers are a member of NFC North, and they can almost win the division championship in Minnesota. Aaron Rodgers and the surging Green Bay defense make the Packers one of the most complete teams in the NFL. The Vikings often do not perform well in such large games.
10) Carolina Panthers (Against the Washington football team)
Washington’s disastrous defeat over Tampa Bay in Week 10 may not show any signs that the team has turned things around. Carolina’s defense ranks second in the league and is particularly good against the weakest part of the Panthers schedule.
