Interpersonal relationships are difficult enough, but a Redditor said that his marriage shouldn’t happen in the first place. In a post that received more than 14,000 likes and nearly 1,000 comments, a man filed for divorce, and many Redditors supported him.
“True Off My Chest” is a forum where users can reveal their deepest and darkest secrets—as the name suggests—to get things out of their chests. A person named “Minimum-Woodpecker41” explained what went wrong with his relationship.
“I have been dating my wife since my junior year and we started very well,” he wrote. “We love each other and everything is fine. My mom and dad don’t like her for some reason, but when they tell me not to marry her, I should listen to them. When they tell me, I don’t want to do it. Anything with them.”
He went on to say that they were married anyway, but later found out that she had “derailed with multiple men many times”, claiming that she had “changed” since they got married.
“She became an evil person. Just like pure evil. I despise her and everything she believes in. I absolutely hate coming back to her. She didn’t do anything I asked her to do at work and complained about us. The dog is “too difficult to take care of. My dog is not even difficult to take care of,” he said. “I think my dog is causing her trouble because she can see that she is evil. “
To make matters worse, the man claimed that his wife assaulted him and said, “About two weeks ago, I was watching YouTube on my mobile phone. She came over and smashed a coffee cup on my head because I left the towel in the bathroom.”
He added that “there is a lot more to this story” and he plans to divorce.
Couples Therapy CompanyPoint out that high school couples who got married during their teenage years “only have about 54% chance of enjoying a marriage that lasts for ten years.” However, if the couple waited until they were at least 25 years old, they had a 78% chance to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
In other words, this article touched some people’s nerves.

“OP should also consider obtaining restraint orders and the like. If she breaks the cup on their heads, it is a direct abuse, and I don’t want to see what else she has done,” Cosmetic-Cloud wrote.
“That’s a battery, a serious crime. It may cause TBI, depending on the power,” 57hz said.
“You are in an abusive relationship. Go out and enjoy your life. Good luck,” Danny_Mc_71 commented.
Although some people suggested that Redditor consider canceling, many found the dog’s reaction worrying.
“Yes, keep the dog away from her until then. If she becomes particularly angry, she doesn’t know what she will do to the animal,”

“Take appropriate measures to protect your dog. As soon as you get the news, the evil wife may have the idea of murdering him. Good luck, good luck!” Due_Cat_161 said.
