The Lifetime Christmas movie continues to premiere on Sunday night “Baking Spirits Bright” starring Reka Sharma and Dion Johnstone.
Fans may recognize Sharma, she has previously played roles in the lifelong movies “Own and Hold” and “Her Dark Past”, but is probably best known for her role in “Star Trek: Discovery” The work of Commander Landry. However, Johnstone may be a newcomer to the audience. His most famous works so far are the roles in the iconic and mysterious film “Family Christmas Gifts”, and Craig Brooks’s roles in “Star Fall” and Eric Whitley in “Sweet Mulan.”
The cast also includes other talents who are also famous for themselves inside and outside Lifetime, including Aadila Dosani (“Sugar and Spice Holiday”), Praneet Akilla (“Nancy Drew”), Manoj Sood (“Poison Love: Stacy Castor Story”) And Nimet Kanji (“Coyote Creek Christmas”).

“Mira Varma (Sharma) is proud of her family’s business of making fruit cakes. Although it was once the most gifted holiday dessert in the United States, its popularity is declining,” a summary read.
However, when Mira learned that her parents had begun to lose confidence, she was tested-and believed that outsiders would help them as they tried to restore their former glory.
“When Mira’s parents decided to hire Brady Phillips (Johnstone) and his powerful marketing company to increase sales during the holidays, Mira had to work hard to grasp the core of the company she loved so much,” the summary concluded .
“Baking Spirits Bright” will air on Lifetime on Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
