IAI will provide Z-MAG all-terrain vehicles for the MOD of the Israel Defense Forces Mobile Forces

The Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Production and Purchasing Department signed the first agreement with IAI to manufacture Z-MAG for IDF and global customers.

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Israel’s Ministry of Defense (MOD) Production and Procurement Office have signed an agreement to manufacture a unique all-terrain vehicle Z-MAG for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

IAI recently acquired the rights to Israel’s Z off-road vehicle series. The Land Production and Procurement Division of the Israeli Ministry of Defense has signed an agreement with IAI’s ELTA Group to manufacture and supply 9 Z-MAG all-terrain vehicles for the Israel Defense Forces, with the option of ordering 21 additional vehicles.

The Z-MAG vehicle developed by Israel has always been a point of interest for the local and global off-road and all-terrain vehicle communities. Z-MAG has the excellent ability to maneuver in the most extreme terrain conditions and terrain. The first batch of Z-MAG vehicles purchased by the Ministry of Defense will have unique features designed to meet the needs of IDF mobile forces. After the evaluation period, the Israel Defense Forces will consider purchasing more vehicles in the next few years. IAI is building an assembly line for Z vehicles for the ELTA land department in Beer Sheva and is investing 100 million ILS in the project.
