When I grew up in the armpits of the United States, the Super Pet Expo in Edison, New Jersey was the highlight of my year, and I will still go as far as I can. This year, an event organizer contacted me, hoping to write an article about Super Pet Expo on my blog and organize a free ticket giveaway event. Everything is complete!If you are not far from Edison, New Jersey, you must Experience this fair. This year, it will be held on the weekend of January 21-23, 2022.
The Super Pet Expo will also be held in Chantilly, Virginia from March 18th to 20th, 2022. Although I have not been to their location, I believe this is equally exciting.

What is Super Pet Expo?
The Super Pet Expo is held at the huge New Jersey Convention Center. The center hosts wonderful fairs throughout the year, including the Garden State Cat Fair in summer, as well as fossil and mineral events, and handicraft fairs-but so far, I like the Super Pet Fair the most.
This year, there will be more than 100 suppliers, including dog bakery, handmade collars, seat belts, clothing, pet parent gifts, local trainers, local pet sitters, pet food company representatives, rescue, shelters and other small businesses.
There are demonstrations, activities and performances every year. For 2022, some highly anticipated events include:
- Learn about the joy and care of pet hermit crabs with Mr. Crab
- Dachshund Race aka Wiener Race
- Skills and training programs in collaboration with Bone-A-Fied Talent Group/dog trainer Chrissy Joy
- The aisle where the alligator and the tortoise meet
- Butterfly Exhibit has more than 500 butterflies-you can even feed them
- Lure Coursing-If your dogs like sports, you can register them!
There are also thousands of pet lovers, some of whom are accompanied by their pets. You can bring a pet on a leash, so this can be a fun day for highly social dogs. I took Matilda, but we all felt overwhelmed-this year, she will be riding in my backpack so that she can judge everyone from a height.
The best things I saw at the Super Pet Expo
I recently participated in the Super Pet Expo Pig placement network, Rescue the pot-bellied pig. In their pigpen, they possess the agility of pigs-pigs trot on the slopes and cross hoops peacefully in their little piggy, leisurely manner. You can also watch pig paintings, they have paintings for sale to facilitate rescue.
I have also seen exotic birds, and I have not heard whether they will return this year. I have witnessed macaws, toucans and various wild animals.
I participated in the nutrition and training presentation, and then I had the opportunity to talk with experts.
I used to pair Matilda and Cow with raincoats at the fair. This is definitely my favorite thing I bought there.
In general, this is a shopping experience, a learning experience, a social event, and more things are concentrated in a weekend. Now that I have my first kitten, I am looking forward to seeing what products, concepts and ideas I can discover to make her a great cat.
