What is a busy schedule?
According to the Collins Dictionary, a busy schedule is a calendar full of tasks or events with specific deadlines that keep you from doing anything else.
For example, this might look like working 24/7 with little to no sleep. Or, it might seem like a day filled with endless chores and errands with no personal time.
No matter the circumstances, we can all agree that a busy schedule makes people feel busy, leaving no room for self-care or leisure.
So why is it so addicting?
why we like to be busy
Honestly, we associate limited time with social status.
We entered this unspoken competition, knowingly or not, to demonstrate our importance based on how crowded our schedules seemed.
We want to feel valued.
