Happy Friyay, ladies and gentlemen. I put together a little luxury shoe haul on my YouTube channel last week and I wanted to share my footwear favorites here too in case you prefer to digest your digital content differently.
I truly believe that the right pair of shoes can take a look from drab to fab. Even if your #ootd is as simple as a pair of blue jeans and a white tee, some stellar heels can make it a street style victory. I love the crushed velvet texture of these gorgeous Tamara Mellon heels. They have a beautiful crystal studded heel and ankle strap! I love that these heels incorporate a cushioned sole that makes them comfortable for all-day wear.
I met Tamara at an event and asked her about her inspiration for making the pillow top shoe, and it turns out that she was inspired by the cushion of a stool she was sitting on. She dismantled the thing and then rolled up to her manufacture with a vision to make stunning shoes ultra cushioned and comfy. She did a stellar job without sacrificing an ounce of fabulous. These are perfect for date night!

This miracle shoe can elevate a simple outfit or serve as the cherry on top of an all out elegant ensemble. Whether you dress them up with a coquettish cocktail dress or throw them on with denim in nonchalant prima donna fashion, these pumps are a lasting purchase that Carrie Bradshaw would surely encourage.

There’s something so powerful about a pair of over-the-knee boots. They make a confident statement but also have a classic air about them. I love the unique chocolate brown color of these crushed velvet boots by Tamara Mellon. Again, they have intricate crystal detailing around the sole of the shoe and the stitching adds a vintage flair. These are also quite comfortable and can be worn over jeans and leggings or paired with a dress or skirt.

Next up is a beautiful pair of black caged pumps from a Parisian brand called Francesco Russo. I bought a pair of classic black pumps from them and have been wearing them on repeat so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a second pair. I think this caged style is very eye-catching and timeless all at once. I love the two-tone color and the way they add some spice to any look with the strappy silhouette.

I’m pretty enamored with this stunning pair of heels by Saint Laurent. They have an asymmetrical flower detail on just one of the sandals that really give them a pop of intrigue although I did have someone comment that it looks like I’m wearing a house arrest anklet. In spite of the fact that I can no longer unsee that, I’m a big fan of the sculptural form and patent leather of this pump. I’ve worn them over socks during the cold season and can’t wait to bring them on vacation with me once I’m off house arrest (juuust kidding).

I told you that pillow top sole and sexy heel combo was too delicious to pass up. This third pair of Tamara Mellon heels (yes, 50% of this haul is Tamara), is a closed toe style with a lace up detail at the ankle . I love the way you can play with the lace up closure and really give your look an enchanting feel. The heel has more of those magical crystals for fashion purposes and this dark purple color gives the shoe a regal air that I can’t get enough of.
