Time to make another meal plan. I missed posting last week’s plan, but we’re still planning meals anyway. By the way, Happy Valentine’s Day! We won’t be celebrating Valentine’s Day dinner on the weekend today. We thought it would be meaningful to work with both of us today and celebrate while we’re away. Have you planned your Valentine’s Day meal today?
So without further ado, here is our meal plan for the week.
on Monday –
A barbecue dinner. We had a lovely Valentine’s Day meal yesterday as we were both at work today.
Tuesday –
Chicken burritos in a low-calorie Mission Deli package. Dry fry the chicken strips, onions and peppers with some smoked paprika, American mustard and chili powder.
Wednesday –
Cheesy Broccoli Roast and some homemade chicken kiev. Possibly filled with low-fat cream cheese and some bacon lard.
Thursday –
Keema curry pie. Prepare an easy dinner and pop it in the oven when you need it. Craig is usually late on Thursdays, so it makes my life easier.
Friday –
Jacket Potatoes with Homemade Chili. I would put the potatoes in the oven for a super crispy skin and use Quorn for the chili. This is our meatless meal of the week.
Saturday –
Cheeseburger and fries. Homemade patties with low-fat cheese, grilled onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles with tomato sauce. Serve with air fry fries. All the flavors of fast food without so much fat!
Sunday –
Meatloaf with steamed vegetables and mustard puree.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for dinner. I also wonder if you have a favorite meal?
