Boeing Demonstrates Advanced Defense and Services Capabilities at DefExpo 2022


  • Focus on F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III, F-15EX, P-8I, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook.

Boeing will showcase a range of advanced defense capabilities for India at DefExpo 2022, including the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III, F-15EX, P-8I, AH-64E Apache and CH-47F Chinook.

Boeing will also outline its investments in India’s service infrastructure, local capacity building, workforce training and partnerships aimed at ensuring the Indian Armed Forces are always mission-ready and operate their assets at their best.

Boeing’s exhibit at Hall 8, US Pavilion, Booth 8R.28 28 subject to “Digitally advanced. Simple and efficient production. Smart support” It will showcase advanced defence capabilities provided to the Indian Armed Forces, highlight partnerships with the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force on existing defence programmes, and share details of the company’s strategic investments in India’s aerospace and defence ecosystem.

During DefExpo, Boeing will demonstrate the advanced multi-role capabilities of the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III as the best option for the Indian Navy’s carrier-based fighter needs. Visitors will be able to virtually experience the flight of the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III on a simulator and learn more about its mission capabilities, carrier aviation and excellence. The company will also highlight its portfolio of products and services to help India meet its current and future national security requirements, including F-15EX, P-8I, CH-47F(I) Chinook, AH-64E Apache, KC -46 , and growth in training, maintenance, and performance-based logistics solutions.

India already has 11 C-17s, 22 AH-64 Apaches (six more on order), 15 CH-47 Chinooks, 12 P-8Is, three VVIPs and two Heads of State airplane. In addition, Boeing is steadily increasing its purchases from India and expanding its supplier network, its contribution to “Make in India” and investments aimed at leveraging India’s manufacturing capabilities, talent, innovation and productivity.
