SEOPress is the latest plugin for WordPress sites to support the IndexNow protocol, which automatically pings search engines when content is added or updated.
As IndexNow is adopted by more and more search engines, including Bing, support among SEO tool companies is also increasing.
In the announcement, the SEOPress team noted:

Once content from a WordPress site is published, edited, or removed, participating search engines are notified via the IndexNow protocol, letting them know about the changes. By proactively pushing updates as they are updated, the traditional indexing logic is reversed: content owners initiate changes to search engine indexes, not the other way around. “
SEOPress + IndexNow integration
The latest version of the SEOPress WordPress plugin offers IndexNow functionality for free.
To activate it, navigate to the WordPress admin panel and click Search Engine Optimization menu options, then look for instant index.
Activate IndexNow from set up By clicking on the blue toggle panel. Make sure the “Automatically notify search engines” option is checked from the “Settings” tab.
From there, SEOPress will automatically ping IndexNow with content changes.
