ingredients you need

  • salmon fillet – If you can, bring the salmon with the skin on, it will make the dish more flavorful (even if you don’t like the skin on). I always buy wild salmon, but any kind will do.Learn more about the different types of salmon and how to Baked Salmon Recipe postal. )
  • sea salt & Black pepper
  • olive oil – For stir-frying. Avocado oil can also be used. I do not recommend using butter as it is not suitable for high heat cooking.
  • garlic – Use fresh garlic cloves for best flavor, or canned garlic for convenience.
  • sun dried tomatoes – you can do it yourself Homemade Sun Dried Tomatoes or buy them. If you buy store-bought, I recommend sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil for the best flavor. If you get dried tomatoes without oil, you will need to rehydrate them with oil before use.
  • baby spinach -Fresh spinach works best here, but if all you have is frozen, you can drain it and use it instead.
  • heavy cream – This is the base of the creamy sauce. Full-fat coconut milk can be used as a substitute, but the dish still contains dairy due to the Parmesan cheese.
  • chicken soup – This adds depth to the sauce. You can also use vegetable broth if you prefer, or bone broth to increase nutrition.
  • parmesan cheese – This gives the sauce a savory, rich flavor and also helps thicken it without any flour or cornstarch. (Cheese can be cornstarch substitute for thickening cream sauces). Use grated cheese so it blends easily into the sauce. You can omit the cheese if you really want to, but the sauce will be thinner.
