Fong joins Chase as community manager

Rocky Fang

Veteran banker Rocky Fong recently took on a new role at Chase in Seattle as community manager, a newly created role.

Fong’s mission is to provide community residents with tools and resources to help them achieve their financial goals. The position is part of JPMorgan’s $30 billion five-year racial equity commitment to address the racial wealth gap.

At its location at 301 East Broadway in Seattle, Fong will build and nurture relationships at the community level with key community leaders, nonprofit partners and small businesses.

“When I worked on CSR early in my career, I saw many clients who didn’t know where to start or how to achieve their financial goals, including savings, budgeting, or even how to establish and initiate credit,” said Fang. “In my new role, I’m serving the Seattle community on a deeper level.”

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Fang has lived in Seattle with his family since 1997.
