U.S. Army to Announce Update on UGV Development and Integration at 2022 U.S. Military Robotics and Autonomy Conference

SAE Media Group reports: U.S. Army spokespersons will share valuable insights on this key topic at a conference in Arlington, Virginia next month.

The U.S. Army is increasingly focusing on unmanned systems as it seeks to improve soldier protection while increasing operational efficiency.

The Army is working to develop and procure UGVs and UASs, and intends to increase the deployment of manned-unmanned formations (MUM-Ts) on the ground and in the air. Interaction through the MUM-T will also improve the soldier’s situational awareness and lethality. *
