Since launching the industry’s first comprehensive cancer care package last year, we have seen significant demand from employers looking to provide their employees with access to top cancer specialists closer to home. We are proud to partner with City of Hope to make this a reality.”
With Carrum Health’s bundled cancer care packages, patients with non-metastatic breast cancer may be eligible for up to two years of treatment at City of Hope, including resection surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, care for treatment-related complications As well as interdisciplinary examinations – ins and follow-ups.
What is a super app? Super apps are not built to do one thing well, but to launch many products in a standalone environment. The Wall Street Journal recently published an article titled What is a “super app”? Why are Elon Musk, Evan Spiegel and Jack Dorsey so interested? Provide a description of WeChat, the super-app for Chinese internet companies:
“It started as a cross between a messaging app and social media, but has grown to cover everything from ride-hailing and e-commerce to mobile payments and government services. Today, it has nearly 1.3 billion users.”
In a recent blog post, Beth Strohbusch, Equivalentof “What will a healthcare super-app look like?” asked the head of marketing
Strohbusch acknowledges that digital health innovations bring value to consumers and clinicians, but “there are too many options today,” she said.
According to the 2021 Trends Report from the IQVIA Institute for Human Data ScienceIn 2020, more than 90,000 digital wellness apps were added to the app store — an average of over 250 a day. Apps that focus on managing a specific disease or health condition rather than health management accounted for 47% of apps, compared to 28% in 2015.
In healthcare, widespread adoption of single-use apps and devices is neither realistic nor sustainable. Equiva offers a new “super app type” approach through its point solution aggregation and software delivery environment that securely supports any number of educational and engagement solutions via mobile devices, kiosks, digital signage, and more.
