Too often, moms put themselves on the back burner for the sake of family and family. While being selfless is only part of the job, it’s also important that a mother is sometimes spoiled by herself or others.

We get it, you’re busy, your kids need you, and there’s laundry to do and homework to check. But you and your needs are also important, and it’s important to take care of yourself before you burn out and become useless to everyone around you. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty glass, so here are some ways to fill yours.

Make time every day for self-care

Make sure to set aside at least 30 minutes a day for yourself to put on makeup, read a book, practice yoga, go for a walk alone, or spend some time writing a journal.
