A sci-fi anime around the lives of 36 boys and girls is part of the ongoing summer 2021 anime catalog. The “Sonny Boy” animation shows a school drifting into an alien dimension.
The official website has freed Synopsis and spoilers for the first episode of “Sonny Boy”. During the summer vacation, Nagara and other students were trapped in the school, floating in the void.
Students will develop unusual abilities when entering another dimension. However, they still do not have the power to return to the old world.
Cap and some other students made some rules to restore order. They require students to abide by these rules or prepare to face severe punishment.
“Sonny Boy” is adapted from the story of Shingo Natsume, and the original character design was completed by Eguchi. The first episode of the series was directed by Shingo Natsume. Fujino Mari is the animation art director, and Nagasaka Keita is the animation director.
“This is an ordinary summer vacation… Except for Nagara’s high school which mysteriously drifts to another dimension. As students begin to develop strange new powers, will they work together to survive in a foreign environment and find their way home? Fans can watch episode 1 of “Sonny Boy” online at Funimation. The episode will be broadcast live in Japanese with English subtitles.Episode 1 will premiere in the U.S. this Thursday
