A Manchester United striker doesn’t seem to think he has succeeded at Old Trafford.
After being touted as one of the most exciting signings that arrived at Manchester United last year, Facundo Pelistri now wants to continue playing overseas.
Pelistri joined the Red Devils from Penarol in October and was predicted to be one of the club’s future stars.
However, the 19-year-old player did not find his place in Solskjaer’s offensive lineup and was eventually loaned to La Liga team Alaves.
Pellistri’s situation in Alaves may be going well because he is now asking Manchester United to let him return and continue his loan period at the Spanish club. As Report.
Last season, Pelistri played 12 times for Alaves. The report stated that he did not score a goal in the process, but due to his quality on and off the court, he “left a very good mark” on the La Liga team.

Manchester United has yet to make a decision on Pelisteri’s apparent request.
However, what is certain is that Solskjaer is very clear that the teenager will have a bright future in his team.
“Although we know he needs time to adapt to the game in England, he has the ability to make an impact with his own speed and ability to beat opponents,” Solskjaer Say Pelistri October.
“Facundo has the perfect development platform at Manchester United. He has all the technical qualities and the right mentality needed to become a top player here.”
On the other hand, Manchester United’s academy player performance manager Les Pari recently acknowledged Peristri’s outstanding performance in Alaves.

More interestingly, as early as now, Pelistrie has been compared with Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona.
However, the Uruguayan striker himself also stated that he is more similar to Messi than other famous strikers in the game.
