You should receive votes for the upcoming primary election soon. The ballot includes a prepaid postage return envelope, so you can return the ballot by U.S. mail. You don’t have to pay for stamps.
Secretary of State Kim Wyman encouraged voters to mail the completed ballots as early as possible before election day on August 3 to ensure that their ballots were received on time. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before August 3. The voting period starts on July 16.
If you wish to put your ballot in the official drop-in box, please complete it before 8pm on election day.
The drop-off box location can be found on VoteWA.gov.
To vote in the primary election, registration must be received online or via U.S. mail before July 26. After July 26th, people can go to the election office in their county to register or renew their registration before working hours until 8pm on August 3rd.
