Earlier this week, a 16-year-old girl was rescued by a kind man from a violent attack in the middle of a street in Colorado.
The well-wisher, who did not want to be named, reported to the police at 12:23 pm on Thursday that a man-who was later identified as 39-year-old Jacob Wright Mendoza from Drake- -Standing in the middle of a car with an unnamed girl. After hearing the girl calling for help, the Samaritan drove to the scene, and the boy immediately got into his car. Police said the witness left quickly and drove to the nearest fire station for help.
However, Mendoza allegedly appeared on the scene and deliberately crashed his car into another man’s car. The suspect then got out of the car, pulled the girl out of the car of the kindhearted person, and then allegedly physically attacked her “violently”.
The kind Samaritan managed to restrain the suspect and prevent him from further injury until the police arrived.
“The kind Samaritan stepped in and controlled the suspect until he was [Larimer County Sheriff’s Office] The Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that when the initial call was made, he was on the way and in a nearby area.
The girl was taken to a hospital in Loveland after being seriously injured in the attack. Mendoza was taken to another hospital for medical evaluation.
When the suspect and the victim were interviewed, it was discovered that the girl and the man knew each other. At the time of writing, there are no more details about the incident.
“This is a complex and ongoing investigation that requires a lot of follow-up,” the sheriff’s office said.
Mendoza was arrested and detained in Larimer County Prison on multiple felony charges, including attempted first-degree murder, kidnapping, use of force for illegal sexual contact, and attempted second-degree assault.
The identity of the 16-year-old girl’s savior has not been made public. However, some people in the community are eager to know who this is and point out that such incidents are not common in the area. DVR Report.
“Everyone wants to know all the details,” Becky Childs, owner of the Glenhaven grocery store, quoted the outlet as saying on Friday. “I really want to know his name.”
“This is a community that likes to be quiet, and that’s why we are all here, so this kind of thing is unacceptable,” she added.
