15-year-old NC boy was kidnapped, possibly in Texas


A 15-year-old North Carolina boy is considered to be in “serious or immediate danger” and has issued an Amber Alert.

The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office stated that the police are looking for a Hispanic man, who may be in his 30s, in connection with the kidnapping of Carlos Manuel Chinchilla-Vazquez. On Monday night, the boy disappeared from Rothman.

The police said the missing boy and suspect were likely in Texas because their phone rang in Dallas for the last time. However, it is not clear whether the mobile phone belongs to the teenager.
