Earning a degree is related to improving employment prospects and raising salaries, making college a key point in young people’s lives.
Although it is important to choose the right major, it seems that the chosen institution may also have an impact on the size of the first salary.
Weekly newspaper Economic modelers have now been commissioned to assess the expected salaries of graduates from West Coast private universities.
The researchers studied a professional profile data set from West Coast University alumni and attributed the salary to each person based on the national median salary of the current occupation.
Wage data comes from the Employment and Wage Statistics Program of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Please note that only organizations with more than 1,000 files in the database are considered.
