It is mainly covered by a few mainstream media niches, trade publications and small teams. However, climate, like technology, is being integrated into the business plan of almost every company. It deserves a more comprehensive examination.

This will bring CNBC to individuals such as new technologies for reducing carbon emissions and adapting to an increasingly harsh environment, billions of dollars invested in clean energy, changing scope of business planning and practices, political and regulatory influence, and individuals who protect wealth and livelihoods. Strategy.

Cat Clifford, who has been reporting on climate change and entrepreneurship for CNBC Make It, will focus on technologies such as clean energy, battery technology, carbon capture, mitigation, adaptation, and far future technologies, as well as business planning.

Emma Newburger, who has reported on climate politics for CNBC.com for the past two years, will focus on policy. In her new home in Los Angeles, she will tell the stories of the people and companies most affected by climate change in the western United States. She will be transferred from our political team.

She will now also focus her non-Tesla report on influential players in renewable energy, sustainable transportation, food, and agriculture, as well as solutions that enable businesses, communities, or individuals to mitigate and adapt to climate change .

also, Pippa Stevens Who will continue to report climate and energy for the marketing team will contribute to our climate report. These areas include CNBC PRO investment opportunities, ESG investments, corporate sustainability commitments, business planning, and the destruction of the traditional energy industry.

Among other internal actions, weekend edits Spencer Kimball Will be transferred to the CNBC.com political team and help manage reports and reports there. He joined CNBC in 2017 as a breaking news editor, helping dotcom with corporate profit reporting.

When Spencer turned to the political section, the news editor Terri Cullen Responsible for weekend duty; and news editor Melody Warner Entering the early morning work that is affectionately called Zero Dark Thirty.

Also transferred to the political team Tom Frank, He has worked in the CNBC.com marketing team for four years under the leadership of a senior editor John MeloiHis report on the market began with CNBC Pro’s usual stocks and investments in the first few years of the team, and later developed to include activist investors and their targets, hedge funds and agency advisors.
