This far surpasses larger states such as Texas (47,159) and California (35,464), which have also been hit hard by the latest surge in COVID-19 cases.
CDC’s Community Transmission Tracker also lists almost every county in Florida with “high” transmission levels, except for Glades County, which is classified as “highly” transmitted. According to its latest mask guidelines, the CDC recommends that the threshold for all vaccinated and unvaccinated residents to wear masks indoors is substantial.
