Condolences have been expressed to a “beautiful” five-year-old boy who was unfortunately found dead South Wales After two adults and a teenager were arrested on suspicion of murder.

A family friend who claimed to speak on behalf of Logan’s family urged the local community to place a teddy bear on the pedestrian bridge by the river where the child was found.

South Wales police said on Sunday night that a 39-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy were all from Bridgend and were detained in connection with the death.

The force said officials were not looking for other people.

Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are continuing, and the police appealed to witnesses in the area at the time to provide information about how the child eventually fell into the water.

Family and friends paid tribute to the “kind, funny, polite, handsome and smart” boy on social media.

Someone said: “Logan is the cutest child, always smiling and full of energy.

“Everyone was in a state of complete shock, and we couldn’t understand what happened.”

Neighbor told Sun Logan is “the kindest boy you can meet” and “seems so happy all the time”. She added: “He has a cute naughty smile and is a cheeky guy.”

Chief Inspector Geraint White said: “This is a tragic incident in which a young child was unfortunately killed.

“We call on anyone who might have witnessed this incident or has any information to get in touch with us.

“We will ask the public not to speculate about this incident on social media because this is an active investigation.

“If you have any information that can help, please report it to us.

“Our hearts are with our family, and we do our best to support them.”
