The best educational toy for children that does not involve the screen

It’s amazing to think of the time when my child will never remember to send a message to someone who needs to pick up a pen and write your thoughts on paper. They will never know the era of landline phones and yellow pages. For them, an “Internet cafe” is just a local coffee shop with wifi. These children grew up in the digital world, where becoming a YouTuber is a very effective career choice, and the school project involves Skype and other classrooms across the ocean. It’s incredible.

I fully support them being familiar with technology and healthy exposure to the digital world, but I think it is equally important for them to play and learn without them. It’s all about balance. I like that children forget the TV or iPad and go outdoors, get their hands dirty, pour out a box of chalk or just play pretend.

In order to encourage them to use their imagination during play time, I searched for some of the best educational toys that do not involve screens for children. These gems will keep them entertained and involved while teaching them new things in the process.
