The New York State Attorney General stated at a press conference on Tuesday that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed several current and former female employees.
Attorney General Letitia James discovered that Cuomo engaged in “unwelcome and unauthorized touching” and repeatedly commented on “sexualized or gender-based nature.”
Most of the female employees who were harassed were in their 20s or 30s. The office stated in a detailed statement 168 page report.
“Governor. Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees in violation of federal and state laws,” James said. “An independent investigation found that Governor Cuomo harassed a number of women, many of them young women, who made unwelcome groping, kisses, hugs, and made inappropriate comments.”

The investigation also found that these were not isolated incidents, but repeated patterns involving female employees in New York State and workers in other states.
