Well, this is official.Passed before Blame the reporter for asking himJoe Biden accepted questions this afternoon and announced that Governor Andrew Cuomo needs to resign.This is after New York AG Letitia James Publish survey results It shows that Cuomo sexually harassed at least 11 women, including an act that sounded like a sexual assault.
Biden did not initially call on Cuomo to resign, but said he would wait for the investigation to be completed. Now that it’s all over, and that’s the result, Biden and his agent huddled together and decided it was best to stick to his previous comments.

This is an easy layup for Biden. Previously, even after the outbreak of the nursing home scandal, the president had praised Cuomo as the “gold standard” for the governor of the United States, but the president had to stop digging at some point and severed relations with the governor of New York. I don’t believe he will throw Cuomo into the sea and imagine that he can try to cross the fence, but I think he should get some honor for his persistence. But given that this is clearly the most politically expedient measure, it is only minor.
What’s really interesting here is to see how Cuomo responds. Biden has his own skeleton in his wardrobe, Tara Reid’s allegations of sexual assault. If Cuomo decides to burn it all, he can easily point out the fact that Biden has never been investigated. However, whether he will do this is a big question. If he hopes to have a relaxing private position in the future, so that he can retire peacefully, he will shut up. If he wants to continue to serve as governor, perhaps he will proceed with caution and desperately.
However, Biden’s comments undoubtedly represent an upgrade of Cuomo. He can’t just ignore the president’s request for his resignation. This is also the last green light for Democrats in the New York legislature to impeach him, and many of them seem to be eager to do so.
Nevertheless, some people pointed out that Biden chose his words carefully and did not actually ask for the impeachment of Cuomo. What if Cuomo does not resign?He has said he is not his Antisocial reaction Earlier today. Will the White House support his removal by force? This will be a major test for Biden. I suspect that some reporters will ask this question soon.
