Alignment Healthcare will expand to 16 new markets in 2022

To provide coordinated care through its Medicare Advantage program, Alignment Healthcare relies on its proprietary data and technology platform AVA, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify early warning signs and alert care teams to intervention needs. In addition, the platform can be used to facilitate video access for members of the Virtual Priority Program.

The company offers a variety of Medicare Advantage plans, including HMO, PPO, dual-qualification special needs plans, chronic disease special needs plans, and professional plans, such as its Harmony HMO plan, which enables members to speak in Kao without additional costs and without any authorization Or recommend.

Alignment Healthcare will add new planning options to its portfolio next year.

It will launch a virtual PPO program for the first time in 2022. These programs will be available to members in 28 counties in California, Arizona, and North Carolina.

In addition, the company is adding dual-eligibility special needs programs in 24 counties in California, Nevada, and North Carolina, and chronic disease special needs programs in 11 counties in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

“We believe that elderly care is at a turning point, especially as the elderly population increases, their needs and demands for nursing experience are also increasing,” Gao said. “By 2022, we will… nearly double our geographic coverage to cover more than 6.9 million health insurance beneficiaries.”
