On Tuesday, the New York State Attorney General’s report found that after the resignation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, President Joe Biden called on him to resign. Sexual harassment of multiple female employees.
“I think he should resign. I understand that the state legislature may decide on impeachment. I don’t know this is true,” Biden said at a press conference.
Biden said that he did not talk to Cuomo on Tuesday. Although he did not read the report in detail, he only knew the “final result.”
When the sex allegations were made public in March, Biden had stated that if the New York Attorney General Leticia James’ investigation confirmed the allegations, he believed Cuomo should resign.
The Attorney General’s investigation of Cuomo found that he engaged in “unwelcome and unauthorized touching” and repeatedly commented on “sexualized or gender-based nature.”
Attorney General Letitia James said at a press conference that the evidence paints a “deeply disturbing but clear picture.”
