Queen Elizabeth chose the monarchy over Prince Harry, the book claims

A new book states that when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the company, Queen Elizabeth II puts the monarchy first.

In his book “Queen“Decline next month. Royal biographer Matthew Dennison discussed the 95-year-old monarch’s response to her grandson and his wife’s decision to quit the royal family members in January 2020. “Elizabeth was hurt and disappointed. ,” he wrote in Excerpts obtained by U.S. Weekly.

The royal expert pointed out that Queen Elizabeth soon decided-according to the couple’s decision-that Prince Harry and Markle would no longer be able to use their “His Royal Highness” title.

“Elizabeth’s official statement expresses the end of love:’My whole family hopes that today’s agreement will enable them to start a happy and peaceful new life.’ This is an attempt to regain control in order to limit damage. It is a decisive but darkened new decade. “The beginning of my life,” the British writer said, adding, “Elizabeth was never a sentimental woman; she acted in her only way. I understand.”

He continued: “During her life, she has always respected her father’s belief that’the highest honor is to serve others’. She puts the monarchy first and defends her mission of service and responsibility that can never be achieved. Of course she is. It’s a part-time job.”

After announcing the decision to withdraw from the royal family, Prince Harry and Markle moved to the United States and settled with their son Archie in a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California. They welcomed their daughter Lilibet in June.

The couple officially stepped down in late March 2020. If they decide to return as royal members, a 12-month trial period will begin. In February, Markle and Prince Harry announced that they would withdraw permanently.

Queen Elizabeth Deprived of their honorary military appointments and royal patronage, and said in a statement, “Leaving the royal family’s job, it is impossible to continue to perform the responsibilities and obligations brought about by a career in public service.”

In a statement issued shortly after Buckingham Palace announced that “service is universal,” the Sussex couple seemed to insist on this.

“As evidenced by their work in the past year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duties and services in the UK and around the world, and continue to support the organization they represent, regardless of official role. A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a statement. “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams weighed the couple’s reaction to the Queen’s decision at the time. He claimed that Prince Harry and Markle were “obviously angry” and “unhappy” with the development of things.

“We know they are unhappy, and I totally accept this,” Fitzwilliams Say On the “Royal Us” podcast in American Weekly. “I would like to see a more balanced approach… the language used [and] It seems to be teaching the queen… this statement is very unhelpful, but it shows how angry they are. “

Denison’s “Queen” will hit shelves on September 1.
