The next generation of 2023 Nissan Z provides retro body styling, 400-HP V6

The 2023 Nissan Z focuses on a brand-new naming scheme, 400 horsepower and design, bringing the 50-year history of this sports car into focus. The new model was previewed in the Nissan Z Proto concept car, which was launched with the Nissan Next product display celebration last year.

As part of the generational changes, Nissan is abandoning its numbering scheme, preferring to simply call the model Nissan Z. This is the first time that Z-Car has named its name separately.

Ashwani Gupta, representative executive officer and chief operating officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., said: “Z is the pure expression of Thrill. It is Nissan’s passion wrapped in four wheels.” “The new Z retains As a purely sporty authentic car, it keeps you in touch with the road, while introducing the latest modern technology to ensure that the car can help you stay in touch with life.”

Nissan will sell Z for the US market in sports and performance levels, as well as a unique limited edition Z Proto Spec option.

The sleek appearance of the car is roughly the same as the appearance when displayed as the Z Proto. Its long hood and short deck have become a symbol of Generation Z, and the cabin design also pays great attention to the intersection of modern technology and tradition. The headlights are inspired by 240ZG, and the rear combination lights are reminiscent of the Z32 300ZX. The analog gauges on the dashboard are reminiscent of an era when digital dashboards were not yet familiar to people.

The company will sell 2023 Z in three monotonous exterior colors: Black Diamond Metallic, Gun Metallic and Rosewood Metallic. There are six two-tone combinations to choose from, all with a super black roof: Bright Silver, Boulder Grey, Sunny Blue, Icajin Yellow, Passion Red TriCoat and Everest White Pearl TriCoat.

Nissan says this car is the best Z to date. Part of their reasoning about the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine under the hood. It produces 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. 68 horsepower and 30% torque are 15% more than the upcoming model, which increases the acceleration from zero to 60 mph by 15%.

Rear-wheel drive cars have their engines paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission. Buyers can choose a nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be controlled by paddle shifters that match the Nissan GT-R design on Z Performance. All shift levers are newly designed for the car.

The start control system is the standard configuration of the Z Performance model, which is equipped with manual and all automatic transmission cars.

Automatic transmission models also have two drive modes: standard and sport. The standard applies to long-distance commuting and highway driving. Sport releases performance potential, providing faster acceleration, improved steering, active sound enhancement and vehicle dynamic control upgrades.

The automotive engineering components provided by Nissan’s engineering team help prevent riders from being pushed on rough roads. All models are equipped with a mechanical clutch-type limited slip differential.

Four-wheel disc brakes provide braking force. Large sports brakes matched with red calipers are standard equipment on Z Performance models.

The basic Z sports car uses 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels painted with dark paint and wrapped with Yokohama Advan Sport high-performance tires. The Z Performance model is equipped with 19-inch Rays ultra-lightweight forged aluminum wheels and Bridgestone Potenza S007 high-performance shoes.

The 12.3-inch customizable digital instrument panel has three display modes to meet the needs of the driver. Buyers can upgrade to a 9.0-inch infotainment screen on Z Performance.

Woven black cloth seats are standard, as are the eight-way manual adjustment of the driver’s seat and the four-way manual adjustment of the passenger seat. Z Performance models are equipped with leather seats; four-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with manual lifter, waist and thigh support; four-way electrically adjustable passenger seat; and heated seat.

The internal color scheme options include black, red, and blue. The special Z Proto Spec version is decorated in yellow throughout the cabin, as well as yellow brake calipers with Z logo, bronze 19-inch Rays wheels, special shift knobs (manual only), and Proto Spec suede and leather door trim . Z Proto Spec is limited to 240 models.

There is a long list of standard equipment on Z, including keyless entry, button start, adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, automatic dimming mirrors, two 12-volt power points, two USB ports (Type A and Type-C) ), front and rear sonar sensors, six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, hands-free phone communication, satellite radio, hands-free text messaging and Siri Eyes Free.
