Kia Sorento already offers traditional internal combustion engines and hybrid systems, adding another option for the 2022 model year. The 2022 Kia Sorento Turbo plug-in hybrid vehicle combines power, efficiency, standard all-wheel drive and three rows of seats.

Kia will produce Sorento PHEV together with Sorento Hybrid in Hwasung, South Korea. Pricing will be announced close to the car sales date. Buyers may be eligible for a federal tax credit of $6,587 and various state purchase incentives.
The model is expected to arrive in the showroom in the third quarter of 2021.
