Pentagon officials blamed the organization for the deadly attack, also known as the Islamic State Khorasan in Afghanistan.

Officials said Thursday that the death toll from the explosion is still expected to rise, but it is estimated that at least 140 people were injured and 72 people died, including American personnel.
