Mr. Taylor said that once he entered the club, Mr. Gove threw himself into the spirit of things, dancing in the jungle and electronic music.

He said: “I thought he would go up, maybe just after a few drinks, the bar was closed, but when I went up next time, he danced very well, his energy and endurance were incredible, he just continued to dance whole night.

“By then, apart from music, he has almost become the focus of attention. Everyone wants to take photos with him, and many people are buying him drinks. He seems to be having a great time.”

Mr. Gove, who was born in Aberdeen, was a member of Surrey Heath. He appeared to be alone when he arrived at the venue at about 1:15 am on Sunday and left at about 3 am.

He and his reporter wife Sarah Teng It was announced in July that they would break up after nearly 20 years of marriage.
