NeNe Leakes “collapsed” during her husband Gregg Leakes’ cancer battle.
The 53-year-old “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Instagram Share a picture with a broken heart emoji and a praying hand emoji with the words “broken” on it on Sunday.
There is no title or information in the post, but it seems to be to address the latest situation she recently shared about her 67-year-old husband, whose cancer recurred a few months ago. Greg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018, but has been in remission for two years.
In an impromptu speech Record and share On Twitter, the “glee” veteran told guests at the Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia on Saturday that Greg was “transitioning to the other side.”
NeNe received a lot of support messages from celebrities, friends and fans on Instagram, and they sent their prayers and love.
“Pray for you and your family,” Katrina wrote. “We pray for you Nene!!!” Sabrina Pal wrote.
“Pray for you to be beautiful,” singer Lyrica Anderson commented. “Pray for you to be beautiful,” Stormy Wellington added.
Rappers Jessica Dime and Miracle Watts also said that they have been praying for NeNe and her family. At the same time, Alonzo Arnold, J. Bolin, Sheika Daley, Marlo Hampton and Brandy commented on her post with folded hands and red heart emojis.
There is also a lot of support for NeNe and her family on Twitter. “Send love and hugs to Leakes family, especially @NeNeLeakes,” a fan Tweet.

After a customer approached her and asked her to pick up the microphone to wish them happy birthday on Saturday, NeNe introduced the latest situation of her husband’s fight against cancer. However, the fan allegedly told her that she was rude not to be more cheerful. The Broadway star finally took the microphone at the venue and wished the fans a happy birthday before explaining her mood.
“You don’t know what we are dealing with right now. We walked into this lounge because we had to walk into this lounge because this is our business,” she Tell crowd.
She continued, “So, when people approached and said,’You are rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,’ my husband is dying at home. I don’t want to say,’Happy birthday.'”
Her husband was in remission until NeNe revealed in June that Gregg was undergoing surgery to deal with the recurrence of cancer. He stayed in the hospital for six weeks.
NeNe and Gregg have been together for more than 20 years. After the initial tie in 1997, they divorced in 2011, but they married for the second time in June 2013.
